1. Software License & Usage
Krexel provides an on-device AI assistant for Android devices. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to run Krexel on your compatible hardware for offline AI chat, document search, writing assistance, translation, and local network AI serving.
2. Local Hardware & Inference Responsibility
Because Krexel performs AI model inference locally on your device, processing performance and RAM consumption depend on your smartphone's physical hardware specifications. Core features are free forever because inference costs are borne by your own hardware rather than cloud servers.
3. Third-Party & Open-Weights Models
Models imported or downloaded through Krexel (e.g. GGUF or LiteRT models) are subject to their respective open-source licenses (e.g., Apache 2.0, MIT, or custom model licenses). Users are responsible for adhering to specific license terms attached to third-party model weights.
4. Local LAN Server Endpoint
The Shareable Endpoint feature allows hosting a local API server on your private network. You are responsible for securing access keys and ensuring your local network setup complies with your local security requirements.
5. Updates
These terms may be updated to reflect software enhancements or new feature implementations. Continued use of Krexel constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
